FUNDAMENTAL #21: Respect Others.

one of the most sincere forms of respect is actually listening to what another has to say

Treat every client, trade partner, and teammate with consideration and appreciation. Everyone is worthy of our respect and care.

Consider this week’s fundamental the gorwn-up version of “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Don’t limit this reminder to work. Respect is the foundation of all healthy relationships. Give respect to others even when you disagree.

Respect breeds peace, cooperation, and productivity. If we respect each other, we communicate better. And remember, being respectful is more than what you say, but how you say it. Respect is a two-way street; you must give it to get it. Earn respect by keeping your word, working hard, good manners, listening intently, and being empathetic.

ABOUT The Buchan Way:

From the very beginning, we wanted John Buchan Homes to be different from other companies. Different in how we treat out clients, different in how we work with each other, and different in the results we achieve. These differences are best captured in 26 fundamentals that are the foundation for our unique culture. We call it THE BUCHAN WAY.
